Daniella Lehavi, a prominent Israeli leather goods designer, organized a fundraising event at the new Castiel Compound in Tel Aviv under the banner "Artists Design Fashion Bags" to benefit the Pediatric Liver Transplant Long-Range Follow-Up Unit at Schneider Medical Center .
On display were handbags designed by 18 different artists and designers based upon the inspiration of one designed by Daniella Lehavi, as well as another by hospitalized children at Schneider Children’s. All the bags were auctioned, with the bag designed by hospitalized children fetching the highest price. Proceeds were donated through Friends of Schneider Children's. Attending the event was Prof. Joseph Press, Director of Schneider Children’s, Israel Makov, President of the Association of Friends, and other artists and designers.
