Who we are
Our Board
Our first president was Mrs Ora Herzog, the wife of the President of the State of Israel who served at the time. Now, our Executive Committee is made up of a group of founding members, entrepreneurs and community leaders who serve voluntarily and governs Friends of Schneider.
Ayelet Shaked
Chairman, Executive Committee
Former Minister of Justice and Minister of Interior.
Avigdor Itzchaky
Chairman of Mifal HaPais. Former member of the Knesset, former head of the coalition, former CEO of the Israeli Prime Minister's Office.
Dr. Avraham Ortal
CEO at Leumi Partners, with 20 years of experience in a variety of positions in finance. Before joining Leumi Partners, he served as a senior partner at the SKY private equity fund and served as chairman and board member of the fund's portfolio companies. Before that, he served as CEO of a US aerospace industrial company. Avi Ortal holds a master's degree and a doctorate in law from Duke University and a degree in business administration from Kellogg School at Northwestern University. Dr Ortal is a member of the Israel and American Bar Associations.

Adi Reinzilber
Director of Administration at Schneider Children’s Medical Center of Israel
Adi Reinzilber, married and a mother of five from the village of Kedumim, served in a variety of different posts at Clalit Headquarters among them Assistant to the Deputy Director of the Community Division, Director of the Department of Planning, Development and Control, and Deputy Head and then Acting Head of the Online Medicine Division.
Itai Yaffe
Director of Finance at Schneider Children’s Medical Center of Israel
Itai Yaffe, married and father of three, is a resident of Tzur Yitzhak. He has a BA in Economics and Administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and an MA in Business Administration from Ben Gurion University of the Negev.
He previously served as the Director of the Economics Unit in the Department of Finance at Schneider Children's, and before that, as an accountant at the Broadcasting Authority and head of finance at the Tango Company.

Our team fosters relationships with potential donors and the hospital’s friends in Israel and around the world. Our team develops resources and raises funds from donors, foundations and other organizations.
